This is the direct link for our very 1st video, Fuzzy Bee Craft with Cricket, Little Alien and Minion. These amazing LIAs will show your camper how to make a cute fuzzy bee of their very own. After your camper has finished making their fuzzy bee, please share some pictures with us. You can email them here to us at [email protected]. Thanks! Dot. The in person part of Sky River Day Camp 2021 is done and in the books, but there's still so much more fun to be had. I honestly don't know who had more fun today, the campers or our amazing volunteers.
Yesterday, each of your campers came home with a backpack full of supplies. Inside you'll find 3 ziplock bags with all the supplies needed to make the LIA craft projects. The projects are Lil Bee and flower, fuzzy bee and a flower planting project. You'll also find a brown paper bag with goodies from the Snohomish Bee Company, who came out to camp and taught our campers all about honey bees. The paper bag has a bee's wax sheet, a wick, and instructions to make a candle, some honey sticks and also some wildflower seeds campers can plant. Tweezers sent home all the supplies needed to make a Mason bee house. We also included your campers camp shirt and taped their camp patch to their name tag on the outside of the bag. Some projects will need additional supplies, like glue scissors and a marker. Over the next course of the next week, we'll be uploading some videos to our brand-new YouTube channel. Some videos will be instructions on how to do the crafts, and some will be songs and games. We hope you and your campers will continue their camp experience at home by wearing their camp shirt, watching the videos, completing their craft projects, and we would love to see pictures of them doing all those things. If you would like to share pictures, you can send them here to [email protected], with "camp pictures" in the subject line. Thanks! Dot. |
