Sky River Day Camp was established in 2013 by Jasper and Scrappy, two long-time girl scout leaders and volunteers who had the vision to bring a day camp to their local girl scout community. Our first year we only had about 80 campers. We may have started small, but our little camp continues to grow every year.
We are located on the Fox Farm near Monroe on Old Snohomish Monroe Road. Our camp is run entirely by a volunteer staff who are all trained, background-checked, and dedicated to providing a safe and fun camp experience. Sky River Day Camp is open to girls entering 1st through 12th grade. Girls who are entering 1st-6th grade attend camp as campers, while girls who attend camp and are entering 7th-12th take part in our amazing teen leadership programs.
Every year, Sky River Day Camp looks just a little different because our camp theme changes from year to year. Our spirits have soared, we've traveled around the world, sung rainbows and painted dreams, explored what life was like on the wild frontier, helped a medieval dragon find her fire, solved the mystery of the briefcase, we survived, we learned to BEE ourselves, we hunted for lost treasure, and we found our own way in the wild. Each year at camp, our theme may change, but our goal is always to give girls a safe place to learn and grow. We spend our days at camp making friends, singing songs, playing games, and learning a little too.
